Programs

The Center for Brain Science provides education and training at undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral levels in neuroscience and related fields. We run a variety of outreach and summer programs.

Graduate Programs

Graduate students in CBS are pursuing neuroscience from many different angles. Our tremendous diversity is a great strength. If you are interested in joining us, follow these links to learn more about each program.

Undergraduate Programs

Harvard undergraduates are educated in neuroscience via many concentrations (aka majors), including Neuroscience itself. Some of these concentrations can be explored via the following links.

Research opportunities for undergraduates

Undergraduates are integral participants in CBS research. Harvard undergraduates have an opportunity to contribute to pioneering scientific research. Additional undergraduates, especially those interested in pursuing a PhD, are welcomed to CBS labs from many universities and colleges each summer. We are particularly eager to support students from groups that are underrepresented in our field. More information can be found in the Summer Research Opportunities at Harvard Program website. For more information about diversity, inclusion, belonging, and justice, see our About page.

Postdoctoral opportunities

Postdoctoral research opportunities are available in many CBS groups each year. Please contact faculty members directly to check.
