About

Scientists in the Center for Brain Science (CBS) are discovering how brain circuits underlie thought and behavior.

We do this by determining:

  • the structure and function of neural circuits
  • how these circuits give rise to computations that govern thought and behavior
  • how the circuits change during learning and throughout life and vary among individuals
  • what is amiss and can be ameliorated in psychiatric and neurological disorders.
