Our laboratory is interested in dissecting molecular mechanisms that control brain development and function using the Caenorhabditis elegans model. I will present two unpublished studies. First, I will discuss a transcriptional mechanism that governs brain intestinal communication and animal behaviour. Second, I will highlight a conserved microRNA-mediated mechanism through which aggregation-prone proteins are managed.
